As a dedicated and empathetic Admission Counselor, you will play a crucial role in guiding students through the college admissions process, ensuring they make informed decisions about their education. Your primary responsibility will be to assess student profiles and provide comprehensive counseling on country procedures, course requirements, and suitable academic pathways.
Responsibilities
- Assess student profiles and provide personalized counseling on country procedures, course requirements, and suitable courses of study
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, as well as attend walk-in clients, to provide detailed information and support, aiming for maximum conversion rates
- Stay up-to-date with information about universities, courses, entry requirements, scholarships, and other relevant details
- Attend university training sessions and webinars to maintain a thorough understanding of available educational opportunities
- Conduct webinars and small informational sessions for prospective students, aiming to increase enrollment and achieve sales targets
- Create, analyze, interpret, and present data in the form of reports to assess and enhance the effectiveness of counseling strategies
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs, ensuring a personalized and satisfactory experience
- Monitor customer and client satisfaction levels, addressing concerns promptly and effectively
- Manage customer complaints, resolve issues, and maintain a high standard of service
Requirements
- Master's degree in Education or a relevant field, providing a strong educational background for counseling
- Experience in college admissions may be preferred, demonstrating a deep understanding of the admission process
- Excellent active listening, verbal, and written communication skills in English, along with strong interpersonal abilities
- Strong planning skills and the ability to read people effectively to provide tailored counseling
- Exceptional organizational skills and creativity to develop engaging counseling approaches
- Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks effectively, and handle a variety of responsibilities simultaneously
